Mario Dedivanovic has created some of the most iconic beauty looks of the past two decades. Even more, he pioneered the sculpted contour that defined a decade of red-carpet looks and helped launch the world of YouTube beauty gurus. Although his work is rooted in the exclusive world of A-list celebrities, Dedivanovic has always been eager to share his expertise with a wider audience.

It was a 2009 makeup tutorial posted by Kardashian that made him a household name. That same year, he also launched his masterclass series, attracting thousands of aspiring makeup artists worldwide who come to watch him work, using makeup to shape shadows and manipulate light with the precision of a Renaissance painter.

With the launch of his namesake brand, Makeup by Mario , in 2020, Dedivanovic, the founder and CEO, gave the public the tools to recreate (or at least attempt) his world-class makeup looks at home. For his latest launch, Dedivanovic created the mascara he always wanted in his kit.

Master Mascara , out March 27, is a volumizing, clump and flake-resistant formula that lengthens, lifts, and defines lashes. "Master Mascara is the formula I've always dreamed of creating, designed for both professionals and everyday wearers who want fuller, longer lashes without clumping or smudging," Dedivanovic says. It features a custom brush and bottle with a stopper to remove excess product, inspired by Dedivanovic's technique of wiping the brush before use. The bristles help separate lashes for extra definition. "My mascara technique always included curling the lashes, applying mascara, and finishing with a lash separator. With Master Mascara, I can skip the curling and separating," Dedivanovic says.
