In what is arguably the most daring photo of the bunch, Shayk poses completely naked in a leather cape and black leather boots. Her accessories—a black choker necklace and matching wrist cuffs—are also crafted from the same material.
Shayk also bares her backside in another image in which the supermodel can be seen wearing a black leather apron and black over-the-knee boots. She poses topless with a horse.
"For me, she represents a kind of wild femininity,⁘ Shayk told V Magazine of the ⁘dominant character⁘ she and Klein created for the shoot. ⁘She's bold. She's masculine in her own way. She lives in leather. She goes out. She's in her 'yes' era—fearless, unapologetic, fully herself.⁘
Elsewhere in the interview, Shayk explained that working on the editorial ⁘felt like stepping into another world.⁘
"There are no lines anymore. No more boxes of [being just a] 'model' or 'only this.' If something brings me joy, if I feel love for it, and if I have a creative partner beside me who inspires me, then I want to explore it,⁘ she said. ⁘For me, [this story] represents a kind of wild femininity. Creating this woman with Steven opened so many visual windows.⁘
