Amid the colours and intricate designs of Malaysia's most celebrated batik design competition, the Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim, was presented with a gift from NIVEA that symbolised the blending of innovation and tradition into one sleek package: a NIVEA LUMINOUS 630 Skin Glow Vanity Box.
Presented by Dr Christopher Veirhaus, Country Manager of Beiersdorf Malaysian and Singapore, the box was adorned by batik-inspired patterns on the outside and opened up to reveal a clever face-scanning mirror capable of analysing skin health, alongside NIVEA's latest LUMINOUS 630 Skin Glow Serum.
After testing it on her own face, Raja Permaisuri Tuanku Raja Zalim was confirmed to have naturally healthy and radiant skin, which almost anyone can achieve by using the LUMINOUS 630 Skin Glow Serum.
The serum is powered by THIAMIDOL® , a patented ingredient said to be 60 times more effective than Vitamin C*, and supported by Niacinamide and Aloe Vera to brighten, hydrate, and refine the skin's texture.
Also, its lightweight texture and visible results have made it a favourite among beauty enthusiasts worldwide.
"The NIVEA LUMINOUS 630 Skin Glow Serum is our latest breakthrough, delivering visible results in just three days and giving consumers the confidence of glowing skin.
"Its lightweight, water-based texture absorbs quickly, sits perfectly under makeup, and even provides an instant glow effect, making it a favourite skin prep step for many," said Dr Vierhaus.
For context, Piala Seri Endon is an annual Malaysian batik design competition named after the late Tun Endon Mahmood, which serves to discover and promote batik-making talent in Malaysia.
Through its deep involvement with the competition, NIVEA has worked to draw attention to the people behind the craft while celebrating artistry, heritage, and the local communities that give them meaning.
