With only a few weeks to go until December, beauty fans that haven't got their hands on an advent calendar, might want to consider making their final choice. Cult Beauty's 2025 advent calendar is one of the most coveted calendars of the season so I unboxed it ahead of time to truly see if it's worth the price tag.
This year's offering is on the pricier side of the scale when it comes to advent calendars, retailing for £250. However, when value for money gets considered, it's certainly up there worth a whopping £1,100. Saving shoppers £860, the brands included are enough to get any beauty fan's heart racing with the likes of Charlotte Tilbury, Elemis, Medik8 and Sol de Janerio spotted.
As well as the advent calendar, the online retailer have released the Cult Beauty The Ultimate Holiday Edit . Priced at £70, it's packed with products worth £270 from the likes of Laneige, Benefit and Kate Somerville.
Alternatively, the No7 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar is available for £165.44, worth more than £236. And, the OK! Beauty Box Advent Calendar , £99 but worth over £600, has been curated with celebrity makeup artist Hannah Martin.
Cult Beauty worked with artist Quentin Jones on the lilac and grey design, which while unique, isn't my favourite advent calendar packaging. I would prefer something a little less contemporary and more festive, but that is personal taste. Those that want a cool, unusual advent calendar sitting on their side, should find it right up their street.
The two doors satisfyingly snap shut with a metallic closure and the box itself feels incredibly sturdy and high quality. Each drawer also contains a neat layer of paper - keeping every single product safe.
The classic curation is packed with 34 beauty items, 20 of which are full-sized. Cult Beauty have well and truly showcased some of its best brands in this calendar - it's filled to the brim with skincare, makeup and haircare to enjoy during the December countdown and beyond.
