Clinique Debuts Scholarship Programme To Help Aspiring Dermatologists Enter The Field

Clinique has partnered with the Skin of Color Society Foundation to launch a scholarship programme designed to increase access to people who wish to pursue a career in dermatology.

The scholarship, which was announced at the 21st Annual SOCS Scientific Symposium, will provide financial support alongside mentorship to medical students who want to achieve health equity in their career.

The aim of the programme is to reduce the financial burden that applying for a dermatology residency brings.

" Clinique is a dermatologist guided brand that has been deeply rooted in the dermatology community since its inception, with a long-standing commitment to servicing all skin, inclusive of the next generation," said Kelly Fanning, SVP, General Manager, Clinique North America.

"Our hope is that this scholarship will identify and support outstanding medical students who have demonstrated a passion for serving underserved patients, and in doing so, will foster a more inclusive and representative future for the field."

The 'Dermatologists of Tomorrow' scholarship will provide scholarship support and mentorship to an estimated 100 medical students over three years.

"This major contribution will be invaluable in helping many aspiring dermatologists navigate the competitive and often challenging process of residency application."
