⁘Theft Ring⁘ In Anne Arundel, Virginia Generates $190

According to a news release, county law enforcement worked with three police agencies in Virginia, as well as the Montgomery County Police Department, to apprehend the men:

Police said all three face charges related to motor vehicle theft, and Cousar and Washington were both charged with grand larceny. Cousar is the only suspect charged with armed robbery, a felony, and he will face that charge in Montgomery County, according to the release.

As of Friday afternoon, Cousar and Washington are being held without bail at the Jennifer Road Detention Center in Parole, though police said Cousar will be extradited to Fairfax County, Virginia.

Throughout their investigation, detectives were able to identify multiple vehicles used in the thefts, which police said started Aug. 8 in Annapolis.
