The past few years, the model, 20, and mom Heidi Klum, 51, struck up controversy when they posed together in lingerie for multiple Intimissimi ads, including a Christmas-themed photoshoot and many more .
While chatting with Glamour Germany for their cover story published Tuesday, Leni looked back on how she dealt with the flood of backlash following the Italian company's campaign — and continued to stand her ground on the matter.
⁘I always try to remember that no matter what you do, there will always be someone who doesn't like it,⁘ she told the outlet. ⁘You simply have no control over it and you can't focus too much on the negative.⁘
She adds that as someone who spends ⁘a lot of time on social media,⁘ it can be easy to fall into the trap of trolls.
⁘But there are so many more positive reactions,⁘ she continued. ⁘Oh, and most of the comments are in German, and I don't really understand many of them.⁘
In the most recent stripped-down snaps, the two models wore various bra and panty sets while smiling and laughing in photos, which the brand posted on Instagram .
The pair also filmed a video in which they took turns using an old camera to record each other showing off their curves in the lingerie and feeling the fabric on one another's lace sets.
"Lace that flatters, support that empowers – From generation to generation, #intimissimi celebrates every facet of femininity," Intimissimi captioned the clip .
